our Club

The Outlaw Midgets Race Club is a passionate community of drivers who share a love for racing. Our racing club was founded in 2016, branching off of the Hurricane Midgets. Over the years, we've been fortunate to have had strong leaders including James Rogers, Robin McLean, and Tom Tyo, each of whom have left a lasting impact on the club. We deeply appreciate their contributions.

We are excited to announce Nick Spiesz as the club's President for 2025. Nick will be working alongside a dedicated Board of Directors with a shared focus on ensuring the safety of all members, promoting respect both on and off the track, and fostering an environment where the excitement of racing can be enjoyed by everyone.

As we look ahead, we are eager to create many unforgettable moments and elevate the Outlaw Midgets to new heights!

The cars are 1/4 scale sprint cars running a 440cc snowmobile motor.  Classified as a flat bottom car which means zero suspension.  With their unique look, speed and being a fender-less vehicle they sure catch the eye of the spectators!

The concept of the Outlaw Midgets was to create a fast and economical style of racing. With lap times rivaling LLM at a fraction of the cost.  

A turn-key car can run anywhere from $3500.00 to $6500.00. There is no need for Big Expensive Haulers and No Expensive Tools. All you need are the basics. On average, an Outlaw Midget race car can run a full season with as few as 6-8 tires and it only consumes 9 to 15 litres of fuel per event.
